Sustainability is an integral part of our corporate strategy. We take responsibility – for our products, our employees, the environment and society. Our actions are aimed at creating a future worth living that is ecologically, socially and economically balanced. <\/p>

Our self-image: Acting sustainably – today and tomorrow<\/b><\/p>

Our sustainable orientation is based on clear values and long-term goals:<\/span><\/p>

  • Sustainable value creation with a positive impact on the environment and future generations<\/span><\/li>
  • Responsible management in harmony with ecological and social responsibility<\/span><\/li>
  • Clear principles such as a ban on corruption and fair competition<\/span><\/li>
  • Fair, safe working conditions and a positive corporate culture<\/span><\/li>
  • Commitment to local communities and active dialog with our stakeholders<\/span><\/li>
  • Resource efficiency through environmentally friendly production processes and sustainable products<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    Our strategy for a sustainable future<\/b><\/p>

    Our strategy combines environmental, social and economic responsibility. It is based on the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). <\/span><\/p>

    Our activities focus on specifically selected Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs):<\/span><\/p>

    • SDG 3 – Good health and well-being<\/span><\/li>
    • SDG 7 – Affordable and clean energy<\/span><\/li>
    • SDG 8 – Decent work and economic growth <\/span><\/li>
    • SDG 12 – Sustainable consumption and production<\/span><\/li>
    • SDG 13 – Climate action<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

      Climate protection: our contribution counts<\/b><\/p>

      We are committed to the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement and align our actions with the requirements of the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi):<\/span><\/p>

      • Climate target 2030:<\/b><\/li><\/ul>

        Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions (CO\u2082 equivalents) by 40<\/span>% (Scope 1 and 2) by 2030<\/span>\n
        \n<\/span>(base year: 2022) – in line with the 1.5<\/span>\u00b0C guideline.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

        • Long-term goal 2045:<\/b><\/li><\/ul>

          Climate neutrality (Scope 1, 2 and 3) by 2045 at the latest through consistent avoidance, reduction and the use of suitable offsetting measures.<\/span><\/p>

          Regional commitment: achieving more together<\/b><\/p>

          Since 2023, we have been part of the initiative OHA! OSTBAYERN ACTS! Together with companies from the region, we are committed to CO\u2082 reduction, energy efficiency and sustainable business practices.<\/span><\/p>

          We act. Now. <\/b><\/p>

          For us, sustainability is not a project, but a continuous process.<\/span><\/p>
