Your tasks and training content:

  • Measurement and control technology
  • Maintenance and modification of electrotechnical systems
  • Planning and commissioning automated systems
  • Safety regulations for electrical systems and equipment
  • Operating and controlling special machines and production systems

Duration of training:

3.5 years

Professional and personal requirements:

  • Good secondary school leaving certificate or higher school leaving certificate
  • Good grades in math, physics, German, engineering and computer science
  • Quick comprehension and technical understanding
  • Great interest in the structure and functionality of technical systems
  • Technical and manual skills
  • Interest in data processing and computer science (programming and adapting systems)
  • Ability for abstract-logical and mathematical thinking
  • Good written and spoken German language skills are a matter of course
  • A high level of willingness to learn and commitment, reliability, flexibility and the ability to work in a team round off your profile
