Our strategy for a sustainable future

Our strategy combines environmental, social and economic responsibility. It is based on the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).

Our activities focus on specifically selected Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs):

• SDG 3 – Good health and well-being
• SDG 7 – Affordable and clean energy
• SDG 8 – Decent work and economic growth
• SDG 12 – Sustainable consumption and production
• SDG 13 – Climate action

Climate protection: our contribution counts

We are committed to the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement and align our actions with the requirements of the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi):

• Climate target 2030:

Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions (CO₂ equivalents) by 40% by 2030
(base year: 2022) – in line with the 1.5°C guideline.

• Long-term goal 2045:

Climate neutrality by 2045 at the latest through consistent avoidance, reduction and the use of suitable compensation measures.

Regional commitment: achieving more together

Since 2023, we have been part of the initiative OHA! OSTBAYERN ACTS! Together with companies from the region, we are committed to CO₂ reduction, energy efficiency and sustainable business practices.
